Nintendo Announced To Launch Nintendo 3D Portable Game Console

Recently, Nintendo announced to launch Nintendo 3D portable game console. The new video gaming console will be known as Nintendo 3DS. The console will unveil by March next year.

On this game console, games can be enjoyed with 3D effects without the need for special glasses, according to the announcement of company. Nintendo Co. Ltd. is the gaming giant of Japan.

Nintendo has announced to launch Nintendo 3DS which is a portable gaming console with three-dimensional graphics.

We already have seen the use of 3D graphics and visual effects in the US entertainment. The biggest effect of 3D came in light recently with Avatar and Alice in the Wonderland.

In the press releases about Nintendo 3D portable game console, the company says, “Nintendo 3DS will succeed the company's popular Nintendo DS series of game consoles, the collective sales of which reached 125 million units in 2009. Nintendo was quick to assure its customers that that the Nintendo 3DS will be backwards-compatible with games designed for the Nintendo DS as well as the Nintendo DSi.”

Nintendo 3DS will be held in Los Angeles in the US on June 15 this year in the upcoming E3 consumer electronics Show.

In the comparison of Nintendo 3DS, news.yahoo.com, an online news portal, writes, “Sony is also aiming to make its PlayStation 3 compatible with 3D games but, unlike Nintendo's planned device, users are expected to have to buy a new television and special glasses to enjoy 3D images.

Many experts think consumers are unlikely to rush to buy the premium-priced 3D TVs due to the need for special glasses and because many people have already upgraded to high-definition sets in recent years.”
