The portal quotes a statement of Kazunori Yamauchi, president of studio Polyphony Digital also, “When we created the original Gran Turismo back in 1997, we wanted to set a completely new precedent for the racing genre. With the technological leap onto PlayStation 3, our objective with Gran Turismo 5 was to create another great revolution which would not only satisfy our own high expectations, but would meet or even exceed the anticipation of the fans.”

Further the news portal quotes Yamauchi apology statement also, “I can only apologize to everyone for making you wait so long, and I hope that when you try out the wealth of driving experiences available in Gran Turismo 5, you will not be disappointed.”

The news portal analyses the Gran Turismo 5 as, “Fans of the series have been waiting very patiently for a new game. The last title, Gran Turismo 4, was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2005. Sony did release a shorter version of the sequel in 2008 called Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.

Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone Coming

Saturday, October 30, 2010

Recently, the news came in light as a rumor that Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone is coming. So, we can say that Smartphones have been entering into the portable consoles market.

Now, it is not the rumor because there are many evidences for it such as photos of Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone. The console will come with a 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, 512 MB of RAM, 1GB ROM and a microSD card slot.

Price of Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone is yet to be declared now. Currently, the device has not been announced officially.

The most popular tech news portal - www.engadget.com, writes about Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone, “…The device snapped up top (and in our gallery below) is sporting a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 (a chip similar to the one found in the G2, but 200MHz faster), 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and the screen is in the range of 3.7 to 4.1 inches. Looking almost identical to the mockup we hit you with this summer, the handset does indeed have a long touchpad in the center which is apparently multitouch, and you can see in the photos that it's still bearing those familiar PlayStation shoulder buttons. For Sony buffs, you'll be interested to know that there's no Memory Stick slot here, but there is support for microSD cards.”

Further it adds, “The particular model in these shots is still in prototyping mode. As such, the unit doesn't have a custom skin (not even SE's Timescape design seen on the Xperia devices), and is said to be rather buggy. We're digging into more facts as we speak, but it's likely that much of what we reported earlier is still accurate, and though the device could still be headed for a 2010 release, 2011 is looking much more realistic. Still, there's a lot of time between now and the holidays... so keep your fingers crossed!”

It is really an amazing news story in the gaming consoles segment like HP Swing motion sensing game console.

Microsoft Will Launch Gears of War 3 in April 2011

Sunday, April 11, 2010

Gears of War 3
Recently, Microsoft announced about the next series of Gears of War, a third-person shooter video game. The game would be released in April 2011.

About the announcement, www.wired.com, reports, “Things were supposed to go much differently: Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinski was scheduled to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Thursday, where he was expected to announce the game. But his slot on the show was rescheduled to Monday.”

About the availability the news portal writes, “Unfortunately, nobody told the person in charge of Xbox 360 dashboard updates about the postponement of the game’s big reveal. Gamers who turned on their Xbox 360 this morning saw an ad touting the announcement that was never officially made.”

“Gears of War” is the most popular video game on Xbox 360 and PC. It was the most popular and fast-selling video game of 2006. Gears of War sold over three million copies in just ten weeks in 2006.

“Gears of War” is known as the most popular third-person shooter game. About the release of Gears of War, 360.kombo.com, reports, “Everyone is human, and humans make mistakes. Microsoft made it clear today that their staff is no exception. It appears that whoever manages the ads on Xbox Live let an announcement slip a little early, and a big one at that. The ad (pictured above) confirms the release of Gears of War 3, which is set to conclude the "epic story" when it allegedly hits stores one year from now.

As many of you know, Cliff Bleszinski will be making an announcement on the Jimmy Fallon show Monday night. However, he was originally supposed to be on the show Friday night, but was rescheduled for Monday at the last minute, so it's easy to see how a lack of communication within Microsoft's Xbox Live ad team could result in this little mishap. Unfortunately someone is going pay dearly for this error. Communication is key!”

Now, the series of the biggest action and adventure will be introduced within a year by Microsoft as Gears of War 3. Background scenes, action and weapons are very live of the game.

Nintendo Announced To Launch Nintendo 3D Portable Game Console

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Recently, Nintendo announced to launch Nintendo 3D portable game console. The new video gaming console will be known as Nintendo 3DS. The console will unveil by March next year.

On this game console, games can be enjoyed with 3D effects without the need for special glasses, according to the announcement of company. Nintendo Co. Ltd. is the gaming giant of Japan.

Nintendo has announced to launch Nintendo 3DS which is a portable gaming console with three-dimensional graphics.

We already have seen the use of 3D graphics and visual effects in the US entertainment. The biggest effect of 3D came in light recently with Avatar and Alice in the Wonderland.

In the press releases about Nintendo 3D portable game console, the company says, “Nintendo 3DS will succeed the company's popular Nintendo DS series of game consoles, the collective sales of which reached 125 million units in 2009. Nintendo was quick to assure its customers that that the Nintendo 3DS will be backwards-compatible with games designed for the Nintendo DS as well as the Nintendo DSi.”

Nintendo 3DS will be held in Los Angeles in the US on June 15 this year in the upcoming E3 consumer electronics Show.

In the comparison of Nintendo 3DS, news.yahoo.com, an online news portal, writes, “Sony is also aiming to make its PlayStation 3 compatible with 3D games but, unlike Nintendo's planned device, users are expected to have to buy a new television and special glasses to enjoy 3D images.

Many experts think consumers are unlikely to rush to buy the premium-priced 3D TVs due to the need for special glasses and because many people have already upgraded to high-definition sets in recent years.”

We already have shared our opinions about Nintendo DSi XL console and PlayStation 3. Now, Nintendo 3D portable game console as Nintendo 3DS will try to grab the market of gaming consoles.

My Opinions about Nintendo DSi XL Console

Sunday, March 7, 2010

Nintendo DSi XL Console
Recently, I went through some review of Nintendo DSi XL Console. At first, I went through Telegraph.co.uk review about Nintendo DSiXL console. The news portal writes about the console, “…The XL’s outward design is clearly aimed at a more mature crowd than before, tapping into the success that Nintendo’s handheld has had over all ages. But there’s one thing that would get even the trendiest technophile drooling: those lovely, lovely screens. Flipping the XL open is a quite splendid surprise, as you’re greeted by two massive displays. The original DSi’s screens measured in at a respectable 3.25 inches, but the XL’s 4.2inch displays really do make a lot of difference.”

Further it writes, “One downside is that the face buttons remain the same size as on the DSi. They were fairly small -and compacted a little too closely together- on the previous console as it was. On the bigger XL, they looks a little odd and are made a little more awkward when in use by the larger surface area of the console. Due to the device’s chunkiness and extra weight, it is naturally not as easy to play on the train, or carry around in your pocket. Those who prefer their handhelds for gaming on the go are still probably best served by the smaller -more portable- original DSi, as the functionality of the XL is exactly the same.

But for those who enjoy their DSi more as a home console, there’s a lot to recommend the XL. The luxurious, chunky stylus that comes with the console borders on the indulgent. It’s also more comfortable to use over long periods than the dinky original. The console also comes pre-loaded with the majestic Flipnote Studio, and some free Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training exercises. With a RRP of £159.99 the XL is only £10 more expensive than the smaller DSi, and the overall quality of design and those wonderful screens make that a reasonable price difference.”

On the other hand, dailymail.co.uk writes about Nintendo DSiXL, “…There still isn't any sign of a snazzy motion-based game that takes advantage of this feature. Instead the cameras take decent close-up images, which can be customised with one of the 11 amusing lens effects.

You can slot in an SD card to backup your pictures or listen to music via the DSi sound application.”

We already have taken a look of Nintendo DS Lite and a market analysis of Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. Now, Nintendo DSi XL console is the biggest achievement of Nintendo.
